Always put your baby on his/her back on a firm, level mattress and in a crib that meets current safety standards. Do not leave pillows, cushions or stuffed toys in the crib.Be sure that your baby's crib is stable and has no loose parts, such as screws or bolts.
Do not place the crib or your baby's furniture close to window curtains or close to the curtain cords.Store your medicines and cleaning products in containers with childproof tops and in places where children cannot reach them.
Always check the water temperature with your wrist or elbow prior to placing your baby in the water to bathe him/her.
Never, for any reason, leave your baby alone in the tub.

Do not leave your baby alone in a highchair, and always use the safety straps.
Use the burners at the back of the stove to cook and keep the handles of the pots and pans inside the stove.

Install smoke detectors on each floor of your home, especially in the area near the bedroom, and change the batteries every year.
Use security gates to block access to stairs and use protectors on the electric sockets.
Keep small objects, including small toys and balls, out of your children's reach.
